What changes on the shop floor

  • Work order created automatically on approval, with files and material
  • Kanban queue, list, schedule, and timeline per machine
  • Estimated time for each order based on the quote’s calculation
  • Indicator for late, will be late, and on time in each job
  • Assigned operator, priority, and pause reason (stand-by)
  • Flag for customer-supplied material

“When can I deliver it?”

That’s the hardest question to answer without a system. MakerCutt adds up everything already in the machine queue, process lead time, and business days to suggest a delivery date right at quoting—before you promise.

Order flow

  1. ApprovalThe approved quote (in the dashboard or by the customer in the store) enters the queue.
  2. SchedulingThe work order goes to the machine, sequenced by approval date and priority.
  3. ExecutionThe operator starts, pauses, and completes. Actual time is recorded.
  4. DeliveryOnce completed, the order moves to delivery and Accounts Receivable, with the name of who received it.

FAQ

Does it work with multiple machines?

Yes. Each machine has its own queue, schedule, and timeline. An order with multiple steps (cutting, bending, painting) goes through each process.

Does the operator need a computer?

No. The queue runs in a mobile browser on a phone or tablet, so the operator can start and complete orders on the shop floor.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. The trial is 7 days with full access and no card required. Upload your own DXF files, register your materials, and see the price calculated before you decide.
